Therapy can help you live your best life.
Relief for those who struggle with self-criticism, isolation and anxiety.
The darkest moments can bring the most profound transformations. I'm here to help you reach the other side.
With 20 years of experience as a therapist, I hold space for you to dream bigger, lay down your burdens and become more true to yourself.
My approach is holistic and process-oriented, welcoming you as you are and guiding you to who you want to become.
My training is attachment-based and draws from Family Systems Work, Gestalt Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Dreamwork and Couples Therapy. Above all, I believe in the power of compassionate listening.
How can I help you?
I am interested in the origins of people's individual and interpersonal problems because I believe that, most often, psyche, personal and interpersonal problems come from dynamics in a person's family of origin. What happened to them there, during their early years, strongly affects how they feel about themselves, how they relate to "the world" and how they perceive "the world"
The connecting of the dots that I do can help my clients see how they became who they are and then, in seeing those connections, allows them to shed many of the knots which bind them.
I help clients see the context of their feelings. By talking about where they come from emotionally, they can better understand themselves and separate from the impact of those experiences. It is so easy for us as young children to feel bad about ourselves. If we can see with clear eyes the impact our emotional and social environment had on us and learn not to feel responsible for the way we feel, but rather see it in the context of our early lives, we can separate ourselves from those negative or critical or unhappy views of ourselves and become much freer and happier. We can think for ourselves and not react to situations in our lives, but rather think and hear from ourselves what is right for us.
This is not easy work to undertake but the end result is totally worth it!
